Chris Lovie-Tyler
A middle-aged Kiwi guy chasing the intangible with a paint brush. Once a month, I send out a newsletter about it.
About
In 2019, at 46, I started drawing and painting. Before that, I’d considered myself a words guy and didn’t think I could draw to save myself. Turns out you can learn.
I've come a long way since then, but I'm still in the early stages of my artistic development. I'm also exploring what it means to be an artist and a Christian. (I've been a Christian since my teens.)
On the first of each month, I send out a newsletter to anyone who's interested in following my progress. I share new drawings and paintings, thoughts on art and faith, and (hopefully) interesting quotes and links. I also write about walking, which I've taken up to improve my health.
